Oberfeldwebel Konrad Rieder
Hello Rick
11 August 1942: He 111 H-6 "1G + IT" (W.Nr. 7370) of 9./KG 27 crashed at Woronesch due to fighter fire. The crew were pilot Oberfeldwebel Engelbert Heiner (wounded), radio operator Oberfeldwebel Konrad Reider (killed), radio operator Oberfeldwebel Friedrich Dietrich (missing) and aerial gunner Unteroffizier Gerhard Wenalt (killed). I am not too sure about the flight engineer's surname. I hope this information helps. Horrido! Leo

Hi,
Can't access my primary source at present but I have Dietrich as Observer (and also killed) and Uffz Gerhard Wendt as Engineer. Wenalt/Wendt is probably misinterpretation of a bad duplicate copy typed loss list so I'd welcome confirmation as to what the name actually is!
