Beaufighter Loss 20/21-5-1943
On 21st May 1943 the body of an RAF P/O was bourght ashore at Brightlingsea having been picked up in the Spitway. Later on the 28th the body of a F/Sgt was picked up from the same area. Both men are believed to have come from a Beaufighter which came down in the sea on 20/21-5-43. Info. from Essex Police Report, could anyone identify this loss please,
