12-12-44 JG2 losses to Raf Mustangs?
On the 12-12-44 140 Lancasters of 3 Group attacked Witten, they were escorted by RAF Mustangs and Spitfires. Mustangs claimed 4-2-4 German fighters, I know I/JG3 lost five Bf109’s and IV/JG27 suffered no losses but does anyone know if JG2 lost any aircraft to RAF fighters in this combat ?
