Checked RAF combat report and the claim that may relate to Ofw. Neuenfeldt's aircraft was made by P/O Kearney (RCAF). He claimed a He177 shot dowm 15 miles N.E. of Le Harve at 0130hrs on 13th June, reporting see one crewman baling out. The port engine of the Mosquito failed after the combat and Kearney had to make an emergency landing at a Advanced Landing ground unfortunately the Mosquito hit a truck killing a person in it.

Fantastic Brian !

It fits perfectly well with the area where crashed the bomber !
Now I'm looking for the crew and Werk-Nummer , but it seems it is another challenge .

Many thanks !

Re: He-177 losses , 12/13 June 1944

Hi Zorglub

The entire crew of Obfw Werner Neuenfeld's aircraft (550221?) baled out, two - Uffz Karl Henninger and Fw Alfred Schlegel - sustaining injuries. This, according to my book 'Diver! Diver! Diver!'

Cheers

Another Brian
