Re: Ju 52, what are these markings?????
The marking shown are: (dot 04 +06). This indicates that this is a Sudeten crisis unit created temporarily for the invasion of the Sudetenland and to deal with any Allied reaction. The code means "aircraft Nr. 6 of KGr.z.b.V. 4 (first formation)". It was formed in June or July 1938 and was dissolved no later than 1 November 1938. It was one of a number of such units.
