Fw 190D unit at Ainring May 1945
Two Fw 190 D9 where found by the Allies on the airfield of Ainring.
These two D9 where used by the Jagdverband 44 (Me 262 unit) as "protection flight" (when the Me 262 where slowing to come back home and land). You can find a lot of photos of these two D9 and their story in "Doras of the Galland Cicrus" published in 1999 by Jerry Crandall (eagles editions). RB

Threaded Mode
