According to the RLM production reports it was initially ordered 39 Bf 110C-7 aircraft. Gotha delivered 4 Bf 110C-7 and Miag should have delivered another 35 Bf 110C-7. However, the whole Miag production was delivered with the designation C-4/B. All 39 aircraft came from new production, and as far as I know, no other Bf 110 types were later converted to C-7 configuration.
