Hey, you guys all beat me to it, but thanks because it would have taken me a while! And, yes, that is the A-3 I was thinking of. Thanks for the scan, Modeldad.

The photo you mentioned, Steve. Does it show the nose of the a/c? That would help juanandresmi with his camouflage. To my poor old eyes, the colours appear to be 75 on top and 76 below that. But, I have been wrong before, especially as the a/c has only the outlined national markings which only came in during the last months of the war, about the same time as the 80s series of colours.

The brightness of the white numbers on the two A-8/9s is certainly impressive.

EJG1 hv gen. newer planes that A-3s, but an A-3 Wn 2161 was ferried to ostheim from the I.EJ1 on 2..dec. 1944..
