Some great photos of G-2/R-6s in Eric Mombeek's Eismeerjaeger Band 2. I have not seen any G-6s with gun pods operating in the Norway. I believe Lt. Ewald flew a G-6/R-6 out of Husi airfield in Romania in 1944. A quick check of my references also showed photos of G-6/R-6s flying in Italy.
