Re: Looking for 101st Airborne - "Filthy Thirteen" - D-Day Troop Carrier Squadron Information

Hello

On D-day the Filthy Thirteen were not a pathfinder group but HQ demolition platoon in the 506th PIR.
They were carried into Normandy by a C-47 from the 440th TCG - 96th TCS - A/C #42-100920 - Chalk number #21 in serial 16
pilot : 2nd Lt Murphy James J.
