Never heard that Luxemburgers flew in the german Luftwaffe. Anyhow Eugen (Eugène) Bohler sounds very luxemburgish. Luxemburg was occupied by Nazi Germany during 1940-1945. Alzey is, as far as I know,
not listed as a city, nor a town or a village as well in Luxembourg. The spelling might be uncorrect. Citys or towns like Esch/Alzette (during occupation time Esch/Alzig) or Alzingen are real existing towns on luxembourg's soil and their speling comes close to Alzey. Hope this will be of some need for your investigation. |
