I have conflicting details regarding Groth and his status upon his death. www.ww2.dk states that Grabmann was Kommodor of ZG 76 until the Stab changed name to Stab/Jagdfliegerführer Norwegen on 1.8.1941 Groth is then still listed as Kommandeur of II./ZG 76 upon his death. Obermaier in Ritterkreuzträger Vol 1 (first issue!), says that Groth was intended to take over from Grabmann as Kommodor. Nothing is said that he did. Anyone who can enlarge this picture a bit and give the full picture? Cheers Stig
