Quarter Master (Truck) Companies were in Air Depot Groups and Service Groups within Air Force Service Command

SG's were normally split in two as Service Teams 'A' and 'B' and allocated to support a USAAF Fighter or Bomber Group etc. So this suggests that Det 'A' 219 QM Co was attached to a USAAF flying unit.
