Focke Wulf FW-280?

Someone suggested this might be the place to answer this question: when I was in my teens, I was fascinated by aircraft engineering (and actually worked on contract at De Havilland for a time). One of the books I acquired - and seem subsequently to have lost - was about rare and experimental aircraft of WWII. It contained such curiosities as the many Blohm und Voss asymmetrics, the Gigante and the long-range 'twin Mustang.'
One other aircraft I vividly remember, particularly for its photograph, was the Focke Wulf 'FW-280'. As I recall, it was basically a 190 but with larger control surfaces and with two Daimler Benz radial engines, one behind the other in an extended nose. Apart from the nose, it looked very like the TA 152, which I believe had a single in-line motor.
I've never been able to find any reference to this aircraft since - maybe there was only ever the one prototype? - and wonder if anyone here has ever heard of it.

I can find no reference to a Fw 280 in any of the reference works or on the internet, but there was a He 280 jet fighter. Since my reference books are old and usually only cover aircraft that made it to the testing phase, perhaps your Fw 280 never got past the initial engineering drawings and maybe a mock-up?
