Chris hat rechts. Both lost on November 19, 1940 as follows:
1./KG26 Heinkel He111H-5 (3539). Blundered into the London balloon barrage and lost port wing during night sortie to Birmingham and crashed off Jenkins Lane, on Beckton Marshes, south of Barking, 10.15 p.m. FF Lt Albert von Schwerin, BO Oberlt Hunno Philipps (Staffelkapitän), BS Dr Albert Leuchtenberg (Stabsarzt), BF Oberfw Heinz Göhler, and BM Oberfw Fritz Gundlack all killed. Aircraft 1H+AH 100% write-off. 6./KG30 Junkers Ju88A-5 (0313). Failed to return from sortie to England. FF Oberfw Willi Schultz, BO Fw Heinz Schmidt, BF Oberfw Rupert Dachauer, and BS Uffz Joachim Schätz all missing. Aircraft 4D+DP 100% write-off.
