Re: Gottfried Dulias

On the Virgil O'Neill list, Dulias is listed between Marseille and Hartman.

Re: Gottfried Dulias

Look here: http://www.virg.vcn.com/Luftwaffe_Aces/509.htm

I'd like to see what's on the Dulis "fact sheet" and the picture of “his” airplane that this profile is based on. If he's not been truthful, it's sad to think that this artwork will add credibility to the deception.

Re: Gottfried Dulias

Is 'Dulias' a German surname or is it a pseudonym from DUal aLIAS, at 82 yrs. old the man is likely to have seen some military service if he was in Germany in the war period.

Re: Gottfried Dulias

I'm not one for names of Luftwaffe officers but I've seen other German officers from the period with distinctly Polish (Prussian?) surnames.

So, does the consensus say he was really in the Lufwaffe or not?

Ed

Re: Gottfried Dulias

Hi Ed,

Concensus appears to be that yes, he was in the Luftwaffe, but no to his claims as to what he was/did certainly post mid-44. Any corrections welcome!

Regards, and all the best for Christmas and the New Year!

David
