I think what most are saying is at least do some basic research first rather than coming up with a large request giving no reason or evidence of what one has done first or why one wants it. The answers are out there in one form or another!

I do not think that sending someone to dig in GQ6 reports is a suggestion of a basic research.

Not everyone is interested in the Luftwaffe nor in that level of detail. Eg. for me Luftwaffe is interesting only as the enemy. Just particular periods and places. I certainly do not have enough time to dig through the archives and private collections just to obtain a single bit of information required, which would result with just a sentence or two. I find that just too often there is a problem finding a very basic information, not only in regard of Luftwaffe.
I am not calling for providing information to everyone who is too lazy to check, or for free, but sending to GQ6 files I find a bit unfair. I guess that a little work with monthly report available online would provide the information sought.
