I am delighted to see so much specific information about the fighter component of Frantic II, which seems to have been a bit neglected compared to the Luftwaffe's famous destruction of the B17s at Poltava.

hello Dave,
Andrew had mechanical trouble after leaving the target area and crash landed, his a/c was strafed by others from his flight.
Howell went after some E/A's and fell victim to them.
