Re: final fate Bf108 (Wnr. 2061)?

I have Bf 108B-1 WNr. 2092 as 'TI+EN' - source Prien, et al, Die Jagdfliegerverbände, VIII.1, p.111 & Prien/Rodeike/Stemmer, Stab & I./JG 27, p. 527. Is this wrong? Anybody know when these machines were built?

TI+EN is Wnr. 2288 wich belonged to FlFh Afrika and St/JG 27 in 1942.
This Wnr. range was probably built 1941 as TI+EO was with MTT Regensburg may 1941.

Re: final fate Bf108 (Wnr. 2061)?

According Flugbuch of Josef Haid (the Einflieger from Messerschmitt-Regensburg plant) the TI+E_ series was built between November 1940 and March 1941. For eg. :

TI+EM W.Nr. 2287 - was first flown on 8.2.41
TI+EO W.Nr. 2289 - on 6.2.41
TI+EP W.Nr. 2290 - on 6.2.41

TI+EN W.Nr. 2288 crashed on 4.5.41 in service with I./JG27, she suffered 25% damage

20xx series built before sept. 39, so the STKZ hv no logical order, or minimal one

Re: final fate Bf108 (Wnr. 2061)?

Some of STKZ blocks refers to some W.Nr. blocks. In this case the codes TI+EB...TI+EZ clearly fits to W.Nr. 2276...2230 block.
Production of 22xx block began somewhere on February/March 1940.
