Hello Erich, Can you mention the name of this future title? And when it might see print? Best, Ed |

Re: FuG 217J Neptun equipted ME109G-6/ASN
I'd be interested to see any evidence that white 43 and 44 belonged to NSG 20. Bf 109s of 7./NJG 11 flew night ground attack missions alongside NSG 20 (e.g. on the night of 2/3 May 1945) but these are reported in their own right.

Re: FuG 217J Neptun equipted ME109G-6/ASN
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to you Erich!
You have other G-6's with Neptun pictures? You lucky man. In regards to NSGr G-10's, unusual colour for ground attack aircraft. |

Thanks for your pic, N. Ishigaki!
On my side, I just found this color pic of an Erla built Bf 109 G-6 "PP+NO", with aerials on its rear fuselage. Any relation with the FuG 217J? http://www.flickr.com/photos/farinih...57603801462303 And another one, STKz "PP+??" in b&w: http://www.flickr.com/photos/farinih...7603801462303/ Cheers Marc Last edited by Marc-André Haldimann; 27th January 2012 at 17:52. |

Re: FuG 217J Neptun equipted ME109G-6/ASN
Hello Mr Beale,
Were those 'G' series for night fighter/high altitude painted light grey, or the common blue(ish) as used on day fighters? There seems to be many different opinions on this. Thanks. Marc, Others, Many thanks for additional fotos! ![]() |
