enough of that, the pic shown will be used in a future title along with other 109G-6's with Neptun. Displayed is a Bf 109G-6 of 4./NJG 11. this in no way is related to the G-10's of NSGr 20 white 43, 44, etc. used in ground attack missions and are not night fighter types.

Hello Erich,

Can you mention the name of this future title? And when it might see print?

Best,
Ed

I'd be interested to see any evidence that white 43 and 44 belonged to NSG 20. Bf 109s of 7./NJG 11 flew night ground attack missions alongside NSG 20 (e.g. on the night of 2/3 May 1945) but these are reported in their own right.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to you Erich!

You have other G-6's with Neptun pictures? You lucky man. In regards to NSGr G-10's, unusual colour for ground attack aircraft.

Another photo of Bf109 with FuG217 under the wing, found several years ago.

Thanks for your pic, N. Ishigaki!

On my side, I just found this color pic of an Erla built Bf 109 G-6 "PP+NO", with aerials on its rear fuselage. Any relation with the FuG 217J?

And another one, STKz "PP+??" in b&w:

Cheers

Re: FuG 217J Neptun equipted ME109G-6/ASN

Hello Mr Beale,

Were those 'G' series for night fighter/high altitude painted light grey, or the common blue(ish) as used on day fighters? There seems to be many different opinions on this. Thanks.

Marc, Others,
Many thanks for additional fotos!
