Re: Can anyone translate this sent from the Luftwaffe in 1944?
In Höhler, Deutsche Nachtjagd Personalverluste, P. 128, is a reference to this crash. Ju 88 G-1, W.Nr.710458, coded BS+ZL, of 11./NJG 5 lost 100% on 11.4.44 at Weisswasser. Pilot, Ofw. Karl Kades and one crewmember killed in air combat on combat mission.

Re: Can anyone translate this sent from the Luftwaffe in 1944?
ArtieBob,
Thank you for your information. We were to understand that they were on a Ferry flight and that they had gone up without any amunition.....very sad......and also there was a third member that parachuted.....we were to understand that he in fact did die as well, but is that information true? Also, how could i get a copy of the book that you have that has this information about my Grandfather? Thanks, Char and also my Father Axel Otto Tillack thanks you as well |
