Re: Texas History Photo Collection

Hello,

The Ju88 looks like it could be from an old Battle of Britain acquisition following a FL there in 1940. Full code doesn't seem to be readable. Can anyone determine where this a/c may have come from and when?

Re: Texas History Photo Collection

Hi Dénes,

this is either Hs 129 PH+UC (Werknr. unknown) or PH+UQ (Werknr. 141407). Both were found by american troops at unknown locations (one source says Wiesbaden, another München).
Many photos of them exist, and up to now I thought they all show the same plane, namely PH+UQ. But on closer scrutiny it seems that's not the case and PH+UC also survived the war and was also captured. Can someone shed any light on this?
