Battle of 4 September 1939

Hi,

Colleagues,
Please tell me which of the Luftwaffe pilots on 4/9/1939 registered applications for the destruction of Blenheims in the Wilhelmshaven area and at what time, and at what time, applications for the destruction of two Wellingtons in the Brunsbüttel area were registered.

Re: Battle of 4 September 1939

Thank you.
There is such information:
The 2./ZG 26 came from Varel. Leutnant Hans Falke was killed in a crash at Mellum Plate in a combat with a Blenheim. Unteroffizier Richard Woick shot down a Blenheim in the same area.

Where could this information be taken from and how reliable is it?

Re: Battle of 4 September 1939

Hi,

according to a source this claim was submitted by Lt. Hans Falke 2./ZG26. Short time later Lt. Falke became victim of friendly naval flak fire.

This is "copy-paste" source. I`m basing on an after-action report. His claim was unconfirmed.
