Loss of Leutnant Werner Sollner - 16th May 1943 over England

Hi,

Can anyone help me find information about a Leutnant Werner Sollner who was lost on a mission against England on the 16th May 1943.

In the Blitz Then and Now vol. 3 there are no direct details but there is a mention of the loss of a Ju 88 from Wekusta 51 with no further details. Could he have been on this flight?

Many thanks for your help

Rick

He was the pilot of Ju 88 A-14, 144649, 3E+CH of 1/KG 6 which I believe collided with another from the same Staffel near Lens when they were moving from Schiphol to Beauvais

QM's list shows he collided with the aircraft of Uffz Trauschke all as Chris says, each aircraft also carried a Ist. Wart for the transfer which killed all ten men in the collision.
