Was any He 162 delivered to JG 104?

Hello,

I have posted photos of an item from my collection on my blog. lwcollectibles.blogspot.com It once belonged to a pilot who was with JG104 at the end of the war. He claimed that he got conversion training in the He 162. But I couldn't find any proof that any He 162 made its way to JG104. Does anybody have more information on this? Thanks!

Regards

That pilot head gear is really in beautiful condition, good photographs as well. Thanks for posting such material.

Hi Ruy,

Thanks for your kind words. I'll try to show such a "Showcase" item at least every week or so.

I have posted a huge update of aircraft photos today and will add a flight gear post tonight.

If he got conversion training on the He 162 he was then very probably no more inside JG104 which was a school unit... But perhaps inside I./EJG2 which could have received some He 162 according to Michael Holm? ( http://www.ww2.dk/air/jagd/ejg2.htm )
