Landing accident in WW2

I was recently reading about an American aviator in the Pacific who's aircraft crashed on landing. As I recall, the landing aircraft crashed into parked aircraft and the collision and resulting fire destroyed some 70 aircraft.

Is anyone able to tell me where I read this and give me some more details?
