![]() Hello Everyone ,
When i used the serial number off an officer ( like 0-123456 ) when i checked out some info on the NARA AAD site there was no information.When i used the name off the person if found the info but then i noticed that the serial number was no the same but a serialnumber ( like 1234567 ) used for NCO. Was it perhaps a normal procedure tghat the serialnumber changed when the person got promoted to rank off an officer. Thanks already for the help. Alain |

when somebody became a officer his nummer changed
thats why your men got an O for his number with O is en officer without is an entlistment men ron |

Alain,
Before being commissionned 2nd Lt. the cadets had the enlisted ASN. When commissionned 2nd Lt. they changed to the officer ASN. That's why you can find the enlisted ASN on some documentation (individual deceased file for exemple) and next the officer ASN for the same pilot. Olivier |
