CC Blenheim claim for Bf109 July 1940 - Luftwaffe and Allied Air Forces Discussion Forum

Hi guys

I understand that S/Ldr PE Drew of 236 Squadron (Blenheim IVF) claimed a Bf109 sometime between 16-31 July 1940; his observer was West Indian Plt Off Herbert Capstick, on his first operational sortie. I can't seem to find anything in my records. Can anyone help, please?

The only combats I have between 236 Sqn & Bf 109s was 1830 hrs on 20 Jul 40 when ac A, D & L were involved. No claims and A was shot down

was notCapstick a pilot? If yes, did he fly as observer?
