Oberstleutnant Schulz-Müllensiefen II/KG 53
As I am about to contact the above's daughter, does anyone know more about him? Was his christian name Hans? He took command of II/KG 53 in May 1942 to Apr 43 but what did he do before & after? I have been told he was awarded the DKiG but there is no record. However, an Obstlt Hans Schulz "Kdr II/KG 55" was awarded the DKiG in Jul 43; according to the KG 55 history, nobody with this name was Gr Kdr?

All we (Larry deZeng and myself have on this guy is:
SCHULZ-MÜLLENSIEFEN, Hans. 15.03.37 Hptm., appt Staka 6./KG 254 (to 30.09.37). 05.42 Obstlt., appt Kdr. II./KG 53 (to 14.04.43). 15.08.43 Obstlt., appt Kdr. FFS A/B 11 (to 22.08.43). 01.10.43 Oberst, appt Kdr. FFS A/B 10 (to 25.01.45). This is mainly from position assignment orders. Hope that helps!
