Gerhard Loos III/JG54
Hi @ all,
my name is Christopher I am the grandson of Gerhard Loos, who was serving in the JG54. As he was KIA on march 06 1944 near of Bremen by a pilot of the 357th FG, he received the Knights Cross for 92 confirmed air victories only a few days before his death. Because he died before my father was born, I am interessted in every information i can get about him. Especially I am looking for people who might have known him or are still alive. I am posting a picture of him(right person) and his mechanic (left person), his name is Roland, my father says he lives in Munich, but I have no second name so a search is difficult. But hopefully someone recognizes him or knows something. I am really happy about Forums like this, you do a great job for people looking for their familymembers they had never a chance to get known. ![]() Last edited by GrünherzJG54; 3rd June 2008 at 10:11. |
