London Gazette wizard required!
Hi guys
Not quite RAF-orientated but hopefully someone can help. Sub-Lt George Robert Vale RNVR was killed in an accident (non-flying nor operational) sometime in 1942. Can any of our LG wizards throw any light on his death? Possibly a road accident? Cheers Brian |

Re: London Gazette wizard required!
There is no George Robert Vale* listed on the LG for WW2, nor a G R Vale (and the LG doesn't report deaths anyway). Nor is there a George Robert Vale on the CWGC or on the naval-history.net list
*there is one entry for 1920 but nothing after "Royal Marine Gunner George Robert Vale- (Retd.) .is apptd. to Spec. Res. of Offrs.,.R.M., with rank of Lieut. 28th July 1920" A |
