Blenheim R3637 lost 9/10 July 1940
Hi guys
According to Ross McNeill's excellent 'Coastal Command Losses'. Blenheim R3637 of 59 Squadron 'blew up' near Cardiff on the night of 9/10 July 1940, with the loss of the crew. Do we know the cause? Was there any AA fire from local defences during this night? Cheers Brian |

'The Bristol Blenheim A Complete History' - Graham Warner - gives much the same info, the loss of R3637 occuring at 0300 hrs on the 10 July 1940 - aircraft blew up in the air, cause unknown, and crashed near Cardiff. Regards Peter |
