III/ZG76, July 12th-Aug.11th.40

Gentlemen: Wondering if anyone has any detail on this unit between July 11th.40, when they suffered heavy losses against RAF Hurricanes, and August 11th, just prior to a very active period leading up to "Aldertag". I am aware that in early July they were stationed at Laval, France. No evidence in loss lists to suggest further action. Did they return to Germany for R/R and return? Any comments appreciated.
