Post D-Day A.D.I. (K) Reports?

Hi All,
Could anyone help me out with report reference numbers, I am trying to match up undated crashed enemy aircraft reports, from AIR40/45, with any relevant A.D.I. (K) Reports, from AIR40/2876.

In general, if I understand correctly what you are asking, ADI(k) reports have to do with interogations and captured documentation. Thus, many, probably most, after D-Day, have nothing to do with the crash reports for aircraft which were made by AI2(g). There are AFAIK many more ADI(k) documents than AI2(g) after D-Day, as many documents that were captured on the ground were processed by ADI(k). I recently went through over 150 reels of ADI(k) accession documents that were collected at the Paris clearing house. IIRC the 1944 ADI(k) documents numbered over 500 and the 1945 sequence maybe 600. I believe a large number of these are on a single reel available from the US NASM archives.

Hi Bob,
As from Crash Report No 245-27/07/44, it was decided that " in future a monthly consolidated report on aircraft examined in this theater of war will issued, and that only those machines which are of special importance will be dealt with separately" so a lot are very vague, eg; (No Date) Me 109-G, Place, Vaux-sur-Seulles, Remarks, Burned out.
Not a lot on the fate of the pilot, or how he was downed, this is the info I need.
On another related subject, If there is anyone who is really into U.S. records on WW2, I would be greatful for some help, a PM would be great.
