Bf 109 G-14/AS W.Nr. 784930 red 1
Hi,
I have a few questions regarding this Gustav of I./JG 77. In WINGS OF THE BLACK CROSS by J. Crandall there is a picture showing this aircraft minus its engine cowling as well as a profile illustration showing this a/c to have the lower chin bulges and the deep oil cooler housing. According to Prien&Rodeike G-14/AS of the Werknummer range 784000 had no chin bulges and the early oil cooler. What is true? And were these a/c equipped with the Mk 108? Thanks for any hints!
