P/O Pirie, 500Squadron, August 9 1940
Who knows more?
On August 9, 1940 Anson I, N5356, of 500 Squadron ended up in the North sea. P/O Pirie washed up on the Dutch coast. Who were the rest of the crew, and what happened to them? What was the cause of the loss? What was the Unit code and aircraft letter? Dennis
