Martin Gleeson is an unknown quantity at this point
Gefr. Willi Krzossa, KG 40.

Hallo all,

I am looking for help with this airman whose body was found floating in the sea off Dursey Island, County Cork, Ireland on 30 July 1941. Initially buried in Dursey Island cemetery his body was reinterred in 1959 within the new German War cemetery at Glencree in Co. Wicklow.

Can anyone please confirm that he was a crew member on FW 200 Werk. Nr. 0064 lost on 30 June 1941 over the Atlantic ? I also need the names of the rest of the crew, the reason for the aircraft loss and if possible the location of its loss.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Regards,

Martin Gleeson.
