Lt Edward B Lightfoot, 61FS, 56FG

I am researching the career of this pilot, killed in a mid air collision on 12 April 1945.

During the mission of 30 November 1944, Lt Lightfoot's P47 received heavy flak damage during a strafing attack on a train near Wurzburg. He was forced to land on the continent and the aircraft was subsequently salvaged along with that of Lt David Mauldin.

Does anyone out there know the serial number and/or code letter of his aircraft on that day?
