RAF Baltimore lost on 28 July 1943
On 28 July 1943, the Italian ace-to-be Costantino Petrosellini of the 92a Squadriglia claimed a RAF Martin Baltimore bomber. After a long fight, Petrosellini was able to bring down the bomber in the sea near Livorno. The crew was captured and taken to Pisa Air Base.
Is there anyone that can help me identify the Squadron and crew of this bomber? Best wishes/Håkan
