Lt D B Harris - 354thFG / 56FS (N.Africa) and 81st FG / 92nd FS India
Hi
Looking for a bit more information on this guy and a couple of incidents. Lt. David B Harris 0730478 Originally 354thFG/356FS then sent to N Africa in P-39s with 81st FG/ 92nd FS. Taxiing accident in North Africa? Then with 81st FG / 92nd FS crashed Agra India May 1 1944.His accident in Agra was a situation of his wing man drifting in landing flare and eating Lt Harris 'Jug' from behind. Believe this left him seriously injured. Anything would be interesting to see. regards MS

Have nothing on this guy but it provokes a question. While in transit from 12th AF to 14th AF the 81st FG starting conversion training in India, but it did not (it seems...) ever belong to the 10th AF. Which major unit DID it belong to during its transition to China? Cheers Stig
