Boulton Paul Defiant Serial: AA384
Hello fellow forum members,
Can anyone supply us with any further details regarding the loss of Defiant AA384 which came down one mile north of Stamford, Lincs on the 29.03.1942 at 12.30 p.m. The crew were briefed for formation flying practice but lost their lives due to unauthorized low flying when their aircraft stalled and dived into the ground. Cat E. Would really like to get the names of the two crew who sadly lost their lives, does anyone have a copy of the No.151 Sqdn (Wittering) Operational Record Book? Any further information would be greatly appreciated. Melvin www.aircrewremembrancesociety.com |
