OTU crash - January 1943 ( Miles Master )

Good night to all.
In January 1943, Sgt Sidney Peter Johnson ( RAF 1281343 ) crashed with his Flight Instructor, just after take-off on a Miles Master trainer. Although injured, the student helped his instructor and saved his life; a feat which earned him a BEM.
I would like to know MORE details about:
a) Which OTU we are talking about? ( Number? )
b) Would someone have the serial number of the aircraft ( seems to habe been a total loss, since it burned severly )?
MANY thanks in advance,
Adriano
