Thumbs up B 17 30. November 1944

Hello

I'm looking for a B 17 shot down at the 30. November 1944 in Germany near Großalmerode - Rommerode. Part of the crew bailed out, one airmen was probably shot.

Regards

The 390th BG Museum would have a Crew Photo.

Re: B 17 30. November 1944

Peglar, et al:

I ran across this thread and joined so I could comment and request more info...

I am interested in any information about the crew and the B-17 flown by my uncle, Lt Douglas Meigide, (mentioned previously,) especially photos of him and the crew, and the nose art details.

I have the accident report and a few other random details including a photo with him and 2 of the crew when off-duty.

I would like to get as much info as possible for my father (Doug's younger brother Norman) while he is still alive - and of course for myself and descendants.

Appreciate it!!

Loren (Douglas) Meigide
