eBay: Two other Bf109 .
Hi gents,
This one: http://cgi.ebay.de/Orig-Foto-notgel-...item2ea8c1b0e4 I believe to be a Bf109E-3, Stab I./JG 1. and this one: http://cgi.ebay.de/2-Ritterkreuz-tra...item4a9bf938a1 about which I believe nothing except to be a Bf109G-6/R3. Regards, Franck. Last edited by ouidjat; 30th November 2010 at 09:46. |

Re: eBay: Two other Bf109 .
2nd photo appears to be Grislawski while with JG 50.

Re: eBay: Two other Bf109 .
Thanks Don, effectively I recognise the small dog!... And Grislawski too. But, no markings on the plane?

Re: eBay: Two other Bf109 .
It seems that most of the markings for JG 50 were aft of the fuselage cross. The paint on this aircraft is similar (but not the same as) to Gottfried Weiroster's aircraft identified as a G-5 in Bergstrom's "Graf and Grislawski".

Re: eBay: Two other Bf109 .
Hi Don,
Thanks again. I think I was too quick yesterday; soon after having send my post #3 I've seen there is a long antenna mast and no loop antenna on top fuselage. May be a G-5 then? Regards, Franck. |
