Battle over Romania on April 16, 1944
In accordance with Romanian Military Archives, on April 16, 1944 Luftwaffe shot down over Romania 6 american bombers (4 certainly and 2- probably) and lost a pilot. In that day, Luftwaffe based in Romania (for instance II./JG51, 10./JG301 and others) raised 81 fighter against of the USAAF 47th BG which struck Brasov.
I should learn which German pilots claimed victories and who was the pilot lost (name, unit, location it is possible). Can anybody help me? Thanks in advance for your answers. DAN
