Unknown parallel stripes on Ju52 fuselage

Hi,

The attached photo is taken by a german mechanic that served at Megara airfield in Greece. The majority of photos are taken at Megara, but I don't think the attached photo is taken at Megara as it seems that there are some snow on the wing, (probably taken in Russia or Germany) but maybe somebody can provide any info about what the parallel stripes on its fuselage means ??

Warmest regards,
Jagdkomm.

Re: Unknown parallel stripes on Ju52 fuselage

Hi, Jagdkomm...

Given that these stripes are light in appearance, I would suggest they were actually yellow, in which case this would indicated a training machine operating with a Blindflugschule.

Regards...

Paul

Ps:I would highly appreciate if you can insert here all the pics concerning the MEGARA aifield and whatever is shown at this airfield. Thank you!!!!!

Aviator,

Thx. for interesting info. Yes the photo are probably from Germany as u say, cause of the 92 photos from this mechanic, some of them are from Germany before the service in Greece started.

Warmest regards,
Jagdkomm.
