Bf 109 V5 D-IEKS
Given as the V5 by some or as an early B by others, all agree that its Werknummer was 879.
However, on this photograph, the WNr. is clearly 320! Furthermore, I'd appreciate to be explained why Radiger/Schick state in a caption of this aircraft (Schiffer, 1999) that it was "one of the first B-2 production aircraft" (p.40), when in their text they say the B-1 was the only version put into production (p.42) Last edited by CJE; 30th September 2015 at 10:44.
