Nölter, nightfighter pilot from the early days
Hello,
I am looking for details about a Fw. Nölter, reported to be a nightfighter pilot with the I./NJG 1 in July 1940 and early October 1940. My curiosity is inspired by the wish to complete my list of flying personel of the I./NJG 1 for a forthcoming publication about this unit and Venlo airfield in WW-2. Two questions: - does any Zerstörer-expert in this forum recognize this name Nölter from ZG activities? Perhaps he has returned to a ZG after a brief but fruitless excursion to the nightfighter arm ? - as this Nölter may have been the same person as Hauptmann Kurt Nölter, 2./NJG 2 and missing in May 1944, can anyone fill in the gap between October 1940 and May 1944 ?
