Looking for the Hptm. Cesar Meyer-Shaar ' Family . 19 Dezember 1943.

The 2nd attached picture was taken 2 days ago, Wednesday 21 September ,near the Lastoni di Formin , a big mountain in the splendid Dolomiti area, Northern Italy.
Carlo was 15 years old when he there saw , Summer 1945, an engine of the Messerschmitt Bf 110 G-2 , serial n. 120083 , 2./ I./ ZG 76 , take-off from Ansbach airport , lost during the hard combat of Sunday 19 December 1943 , in German known like : “Goldener Sonntag”.
The enemy USAAF Bombers were in 2 different formations of B-17 and B-24 in route back to Puglia , Southern Italy.
CARLO CHIZZOLIN , 80 , from Albany , NY , USA ; CORRADO CHIERZI , 65, Belluno , Italia and I , 67 , Treviso, Italia are looking for a contact with the Family of the German Pilot Hptm. CESAR MEYER-SHAAR Killed In Action inboard this one plane.
In the WASt documents , Berlin, Cortina d’Ampezzo is registered as place of his death.
The German WWII Historian HANS L. GRIMMINGER from Augsburg, Germany, was the first to sent me decisive info about this episode.
The Gunner/Radioman was alive by chute. Unfortunately we don’t have his name.
We are all free WWII Researchers and we are ready to take Relatives of the unlucky Pilot and of the Uffz. to the exact crash-ground of the fighter, a place that could be located thanks to a difficult work around a little group of eye Witness of the war ‘ time.
We are waiting then every info , documents and pictures also from the former Pilots and members of the same ZG 76 .

Thanks from our Team for every kind help .
Giorgio Pietrobon.
