Spitfire over Europe

I'm happy to introduce my latest special issue of Aéro-Journal: Spitfire over Europe (text in French).
In 148 pages (full colour), this "hors-série" (special issue) addresses the story of this famous fighter flown by RAF controlled units over Western Europe from the "Battle of Barking Creek" to the collapse of the Third Reich.
The first part is devoted to a technical overview of the different versions and variants of the Spitfire: Merlin, Griffon and PR Spitfires – from Mk. I to Mk. 24.
The second part deals with the operations.
Appendices provide details on all units equiped at a time or another with Spitfires in ETO, comparative technical data and a list of the main air aces.
Many photographs, some well-known, some lesser-known and some never published hitherto, plus over 40 colour profiles and many line drawings at constant scale.
